We will demonstrate how to conduct rich data analysis by asking ad hoc questions, and build impressive interactive dashboards — no SQL or specialized coding knowledge required!

Lab Overview
This entry-level lab introduces you to the user interface and basic capabilities of Sigma, and is designed specifically for use with the free Sigma HOL account. When done with the lab you can request a free trial account and create your own connections to one of our supported warehouses and begin creating content!

You’ll learn how to:

• Get oriented in the Sigma user interface
• Explore a worksheet containing demo data
• Perform data calculations and analysis
• Create charts and visualizations
• Build a custom, interactive dashboard

Who should attend?
Anyone who will be creating or exploring data. Includes technical roles like members of the Analytics & (BI) Business Intelligence team, to non-technical business users (Marketing, Finance, Ops). No SQL or technical skills are needed to do this lab.
