Telecoms.com Intelligence, in collaboration with RedHat, Intel, Nokia, and ZTE, recently conducted a survey to get the views of telecoms professionals on climate sustainability and the associated risks and opportunities in the industry. Here are a few snippets of the findings from the survey:

• More than two in five respondents are currently in a planning phase and assessing where their organisation can have the most impact
• More than half of respondents agree increased operational efficiencies and innovation are the top drivers behind offering climate-sustainable products and services
• Reducing energy consumption is the most urgent operational challenge the industry professionals want to address
• The majority of respondents are at least somewhat concerned that the energy saving solutions they implement will have negative impacts on consumer experience
