The Essential EEOC Guide to New EEO-1 Reporting

On April 25, 2019, a federal judge ordered the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to collect 2018 employee pay data by Sept. 30, 2019. In addition to grouping employees by sex, race and ethnicity, the new ruling requires employers to report the number of hours employees worked, identify their earnings during a 12-month period and classify employees in one of 12 pay bands.

Note: Eligible employers are still required to file EEO-1 forms without including pay data by May 31, 2019.
