Talent acquisition is no longer the exclusive domain of large enterprise organizations. Given the shortage of key skills and increased competition for talent, Small to Mid-Sized companies (SMB) are rapidly adopting a more strategic process for identifying, attracting, and onboarding top talent. Although the drivers behind talent acquisition are the same, SMB organizations are responding differently from enterprise organizations in terms of both process design and technology selection. In fact, according to research conducted by Aberdeen in June and July 2012, SMB organizations are more mature than enterprise organizations at aligning talent acquisition to business objectives, integrating disparate processes, and leveraging social media. While much has been written on the impact of talent acquisition on enterprise organizations, few studies focus on the SMB market. The goal of this research report is to address the key trends and best practices facing the majority of today's organizations. Request Free! |
