At Work: How Employees and Executives Actually Feel About the Workplace

To find out how employees and executives actually feel about the workplace, we partnered with Wakefield Research to conduct two surveys, one of employees and one of executives. We surveyed folks in the US and the Uk. Take a look at key survey findings below.

Key findings:

  • 95% of executives admit they notice their employees contributions more when they’re in the office. But 44% of employees believe their at-home contributions are just as noticed.
  • Slow or outdated technology has become a top deal breaker for employees, but executives are focused on solving other issues.
  • 66% of office workers say there is a stigma around leaving early or coming in later. However, less than half of executives (49%) say they would view employees who did this negatively.

The first step to creating a great workplace experience is to understand how your employees currently feel and where executives might be misaligned. By digging into the gaps between each group, you’ll be able to make better decisions for your people and improve the workplace experience for everyone.
