Data migration is a complex, costly, and lengthy process. It starts with identifying the right data sets for migration, determining their business value, the benefits of moving specific data to the cloud, avoiding duplication, etc. Compliance with data regulations also has to be considered and planned around accordingly. We explored the challenges of data migration in this perspective.
