Bus Back Better, the long-awaited National Bus Strategy for England, has been welcomed by the bus industry. Bus Service Improvement Plans, which will be jointly developed by bus operators and Local Transport Authorities, are a key element of the strategy – and we believe that good data - and the means to properly interpret it - will have a huge part to play in their creation and successful delivery.
 

The eBook examines different aspirations of the National Bus Strategy and offer some thoughts on how they can be achieved, with a particular focus on improving bus journey times and punctuality; identifying bus priority requirements; integrating zero emission buses; and improving the passenger experience.

While the advice is this eBook is related to England’s National Bus Strategy, it is also applicable to bus operators and local government agencies in other countries that want to bus back better.
