ADVERSARIAL NATION-STATES and opportunistic bad actors relentlessly conduct cyberattacks against the US Defense Industrial Base (aka the DIB). The aim is to steal valuable research, designs, data and communications. The end game is to leverage that stolen intelligence for financial gain, to disrupt the DoD supply chain and, worse, negatively impact critical DoD operations and missions.
