Mobile advertising will continue to grow, despite headwinds from privacy laws and generative AI. Next year, we’re projecting that mobile ad spend will make up well over half (65.7%) of all digital ad spending.

App publishers are also increasing their efforts to explore additional ways to make money. According to our forecasts, in-app purchases (IAP) in both gaming and nongaming will continue to grow, but will remain much smaller, representing barely a quarter (26.6%) of the size of in-app ad spending in 2023.
