Much has been debated about the worldwide pandemic and government intervention that has left small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) at the mercy of guidelines and restrictions imposed on them. Whichever side of the discussion you’re on, there’s no arguing that variables outside of their control, including the virus and COVID-19 related policies, have impacted the financial performance and well-being of SMEs across the country. With so much of what has happened outside of our control, it is helpful to understand what we can control so that we’re in the best position possible as circumstances improve and businesses start to operate at full capacity once again. There’s no doubt that a post-pandemic world will look much different than it did before and businesses will need to be able to adapt in order to thrive. |
