Extending the Value of Mobile Java Apps

IBMLogo2

In this hands-on webcast we’ll explore strategies for JAVA and JEE developers, of all skill levels, on extending your once cutting edge but already legacy apps with compelling cloud and mobile front-end experiences. An approach to architecting apps and legacy JEE systems into microservices, forming a core mobile backend will be shown. Aspects of designing an app tailored for the best user experience and spicing it up with the secret sauce of cognitive and contextual services will be discussed as well as how to leverage your existing Java skillset to create great end-to-end apps. Focused on enterprise grade apps, we’ll provide key demonstrations and code samples, based on the latest Enterprise Architectures, including current Cloud and on-premise NoSQL DBs and Node.js microservices. Further, we’ll leverage critical interactive design principles, as well as cognitive analysis of the personality of your customer to build an exciting overall app experience. This talk draws inspiration from presenter Marek Sadowski’s life experience of 20 years and his own journey through enterprise JAVA, into a robotics startup, and now the mobile and cloud development and cognitive tweaks needed to stay current in today’s marketplace.
