Previously, a VoIP service provider had to obtain numbers from its carrier company that in turn obtained these from the numbering authority. VoIP providers now can file a VoIP Numbering Application with the FCC directly.

How does it impact your business? Here are three ways:
  • There could be a marginal reduction in cost since a middleman is eliminated
